I regret the sound of your voice, still echoing in my mind. Shards of ice melting in my ear with tremulous tones, speaking words of impending pain often followed with sharp fingers!

I regret each kiss, that tore my heart from my chest and left me filled with this eternal, internal, longing!

I regret the absence of "I Love You" in your life, that lead to the absence of "I Love You" in our Love!

I regret the silencing of our love song. That music played upon our flesh. Notes plucked with tooth and nail, plied with lips and tongue, bowing arms and legs, singing the sweet songs of the flesh!

I regret most of all, that love will go on, without the loving!
