Analysis of Watching Football
I get on the couch on Sunday at one
Sit back and relax, for it’s time to see
Which side will prevail, it’s time for some fun
As I watch two teams duel for victory
As the first kickoff is booted away
I watch the screen with anticipation
I grin with excitement as the teams play
I’m watching the best teams in the nation
As the game goes on, my heart starts to pound
As the game nears the end, I’m on my feet
One team wins the game with a long touchdown
The other team feels the pain of defeat
I stand up in triumph and then exclaim:
“Wow, that was great. Let’s watch another game!”
