Over a year in quarantine
Wasting my first years as a teen
I have to stay home all the time
I’m even doing school online
We go to classrooms on a screen
We have to make sure we stay clean
Without a mask, we can’t be seen
Going out feels like a crime
Over a year
On the back of science we lean
Hiding from the enemy unseen
It even is unsafe to dine
The virus has slowed down but I’m
Waiting to get the vaccine
