Analysis of Quick Bud Nippers

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

I can not remember each time,
I had been provoked...
To do or say something inappropriate.
However...
I am sure whoever decided,
To choose me to disrespect.
With this done to intend it meant,
Will remember better than I do...
What words they heard from me to hear.

And...
Described in detail,
How temporary insanity...
May for them be an excuse they often use.
But...
My craze to admit,
I want it unforgettable as a lesson to learn...
That all who express sincerity and concern,
Are not cheek turners.
Or revenge seekers.
No!

Some are quick bud nippers.
With a putting a foot up where it needs to be!
And...
Done unapologetically with a sudden,
Quickness.
With an announced size of the foot.

'For future reference,
That's 10 and a half inches per foot!
