I am a 17 year old school student who has recently begun to write poetry. The poem I have entered is the only one I wrote before I turned 17. I have a love for classical literature which can be often referenced in some of my poems. I draw most of my inspiration through the experiences I have already endured, especially in the past year. I find writing poetry is a way of expressing my emotions while also healing from the darker times. I hope you enjoy is heartwarming poem!!
