Tale of Edelweiss

Damsel Salatan 1997 (Philippines)

Have you ever heard
The tale of Edelweiss?

A modest flower
bloomed in
Snowy night,
Without the
Apollo's presence
In her life.

She's indeed
A Damsel
in distress,

Yet she still
Finds a way
To shine and
Grew in her
Own Light.

For she knew
She symbolizes
True grit-

Passion,
Determination
To radiate light
and warmth
from within.

Her unique story
Teach us to rise,
Live and grow
As an edelweiss.
