Prisms Glow

Hunter Aydelott 1960 (Tennessee)

Two fours triangulate singing chords
In a four-bar descending chorus
Circles square baselines moment
Riveting cascade pianos bowing

Four degrees to the left-hand wobble
Triangles bending in a still times capture
Circles refraction in rectangles outline
Eyes drift pinpointing precise angles

Rolling elevators fourth floor please
Sorry sir no four or thirteen buttons
One plus three equals four as thirteen
Would you like to try another floor

Perhaps three points in lines of three
Black holes in outer space spin backwards
Submerged pyramids forming squares below
Underwater cities in submarine taxis
