LOOKING FOR

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

The stars fill the sky as the wishes constantly ask themselves a question: but why, my dear child? All the things that you're searching for are inside, and the wishes that you may wish need to be thrown to the waste side.

The sun does not always shine, and the day and night do not get old as we wait for our story to be told. It is us who get old and choose to be that way. I'm here to tell you that this thing they call time is an illusion made up to cause confusion.

What am I looking for in the distance in this land of make-believe? I keep writing words that can be compared to the best of abstract art. I do not pray because I do not have the words to say, but my problem is I am the end and the beginning.

What am I looking for in the past, the present, or the future
I have been through heaven and hell; both were looking for my soul to sell, so I climbed to the highest mountain top to scream. I want only want to be free, so I extended the olive branch. What I am looking for is simple peace, for I am just a simple man who is looking to shine like a star in the quiet sky
