The letter in your hands

The letter in your hands

With a piece of paper,
she left you alone,
snatched her hand
for someone unknown,

Now, you look at your hand and
wish for the warmth to come back,
you still read that one letter
with a stone in your neck,

But are you aware, that
somewhere distant a body lay,
wrapped in love,
writing you in pages every day,

She can't be HER,
she can't be anything grand,
she can just wish to be
the letter in your hands,

When the night comes,
she will sing for you,
to the birds, to the clouds,
to everyone in her view,

Next morning
she will ask for a cure,
for your broken heart darling,
for it to restore,

She'll let your praises
leak through her pen,

And every time you wish
for the slipping sand,
she'll wish to be
the letter in your hands.

About this poem

This is a cliche love triangle, where a man is in love with a women who left him. There is one more women about whom the man has no idea, and she is utterly in love with that man. Her love is selfless and divine.
