I used to dance

I used to dance
Everyday
Now I only dream
I envisage the movements
 Falling Into a trance
Wishing I could move that way
 My motions making me gleam
Alas.
I no longer dance
 I no longer twirl
I no longer walk
Was still only a girl
 I was that beauty Inside and out
 That tried to extinguish Her life With tablets and a knife
It is art That has healed me
Let my express myself
Filled my heart With love and self wealth
 i long to dance
But I never will again
So instead I dance with my paper and pen
