Your Own Spirit Within

As I looked into the Horizon I saw the Sun so bright,
Its Splendour arose on my gloomy face as I had taken a fright,
It was just after everything and everyone had gone back to their homes,
Was this going to be the new norm?

With tears running through my eyes Right down to my cheeks,
I realised it had been weeks Since Mom had left this earth.
Her passing left me in delusion
Even though it was never meant to be an illusion,
I had to walk forth into a new dawn
Daily I would yawn ,
they called it grief exhaustion, where was I going next?
My best friend had left me to face the world alone I had so many things to say
and yet I could do was pray,

Even though I could not see or touch,
I knew a new day had come my way
The Spirit held my hand Even in the worst of my state
I just knew somewhere, somehow
An unseen, unknown Angel was watching over me,
Some call The Spirit,
Yes I gladly followed For The journey had begun

Here we are saying
We hope You find Your Own Spirit that Holds Your hand
When You need them the most,
I am no longer alone
I have finally found where I belong.
