A Poetic Paradox

I really like most poetry
With metaphors and similes.
They fill my mind so full!

It's hard for me to think or say
Poetic thoughts without a way
Of thoughts that don't seem dull.

And yet, I would feel out of place
If somehow by God's perfect grace
Success discovered me!

It's like Miss Emily who wrote
So many, many things of note;
Eternal poetry!
