A dolphin’s song

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

The hour is 2

though i feel not the slightest
hint, inclination, or desire

To move towards the comfort and rest
Between the bed sheets

Some light within my mind

ushers in the awareness
To a call for me to further rise,

a calling to me to waken
from the depths of my depression

+the hour is late
All more urgent i to the spirit send

Prevailing upon
my forward seeking senses,

Shattering the very heart
of the illusion (at once)

Unconditionally rendering obsolete
from the memories and musings

20 questions of the heart
i would have only fed into the mouth

of this portal where i watch

As thru a web
within a forest of my dreams

This time machine i ride
Alone this time

As cosmic echoes
transmuted into whale song

abruptly materialize
in the realm between my thoughts

Spontaneously arriving from a place
In nether space time

As i am cast adrift

Falling into a vortex in slow motion

As the moon sleeps
the Creator touches my heart

Breathing new life Into
an ever expanding universe of dreams

Staring out into empty space,
Wondering why am i here

Trying to figure out
what it means to live this life

Spawning clusters of stardust
bathed in an eerie glow

Emerging horizons spilling thru
filling the gaps creating fusion

Penetrating storm clouds
emerging from within the abyss

As they ply it seems, aimlessly
to and fro

From a light beaming spontaneously
throughout

i falter
Unsure of what it means

Where Creators touch
breathes life into us all

His most precious gift, freely given
not in words, but actions which speak

Multiplying expressions of a voice
which brings only endless love

Yearning to decipher
the message within,

Knowing somehow unwritten songs
are the codes of life to live by.

From within The chasm
Erupts a cosmic eye
subtly awakening,

Opens
ushering in the new day

as it comes into being
amidst the chaos within itself

Spawning rivers of emotions
which dance  Natural rhythms

Drumbeats calling
Its cadence inducing a hypnotic trance

Where we individually align
come together Following signs

Gather for a spiritual migration
Following ancient pathways

With a feeling
which goes from nothingness
to completeness

Soft explosions,
between underlying currents

We begin to feel loving thoughts
Flowing effortlessly within us

as In telling
A transcendental truth

About these
newly discovered emotions

Essential elements

In the matrix

Of Life
