Flower Sisters

You were so much to me
Yet my eyes were to late to see
The beautiful Flower Sisters we could be.
You were my Day Lily
You were smart but silly
Cute and Pretty with yellow, orange flowers
Outgoing and loved the city
You bloomed in the day in such a special way.

I was your Tuberose
Calm and sweet with a fragrant scent
Soft as a marshmallow inside but hard on the outside
Caring and not very outgoing but tried
I bloomed at night
Under the stars light

My Day Lily would always be by my side
My ride or die
Your Tuberose would always protect you
And see you as perfect
We're like an eclipse
So different yet the same.
Its a shame I hadn't realized this any sooner

Your the rays of light that shine I'll see for a lifetime
And I'm the light from the stars that you watch as you
Sip on some wine.
If only I had told you all this when you were with me
The Flower Sisters would come to be.
I hope one day you see
How much you really meant to me because
You will always be the most beautiful flower
there ever was and ever be.
