Two red cars
I get into my car
and
I put it in gear
But
the clutch won’t Work
and
the wheel won’t steer
I
try to run
but
I don’t get far
Now
I’m stuck In the middle
between
two red cars
Sometimes you just run
out
of gasoline
just
take a look
at
the shape I’m in
I
try to run
but
I don’t get far
Now
I’m stuck in the middle
between
two red cars
About this poem
It’s about my grandson who suffers from Lennox Gastaut syndrome going out for a walk. But for a longtime he would only walk about the 50 yards between two red cars in our street
