Science and Religion

I've endeavored to unravel your essence through science's embrace,
Yet I find myself entangled in the realm of faith and grace.
For it takes unwavering conviction to grasp your true domain,
A cosmic enigma, transcending logic's mundane.

You ebb and reignite, a celestial fire's celestial play,
Flowing and surging, like the tides that have their way.
Whistling and whispering, akin to the wind's soft caress,
At times unmoving, like desert sands in tranquilness.

Fluctuating between states, defying the bounds of reason,
Filling every void, transcending the laws of season.
Yet remaining compact, like a traveler's yearning heart,
Blurring the lines of what we think sets us apart.

It's challenging to fathom the formless through scientific lore,
Even more so to explain what the eyes can't explore.
As a seeker of logic, confusion takes its toll,
Observing your mastery, where the irrational finds its role.

I approach your light-bending ways from a different plane,
Sidestepping direct encounters, where transformation may reign.
Presuming to grasp your depths from an indirect gaze,
Knowing that observation alters what the mind conveys.

Only you can release the genie, without a wish to claim,
Embracing the universe, relinquishing it, free of aim.
I relish the intricacies within these queries, profound,
Yet your simple answers leave me spellbound.

In uncertain times, when the world's stability seems to cease,
As we bow down in prayer, seeking moments of peace,
You become my fortress, a vessel to weather the strife,
A steadfast warship, navigating the tumultuous tides of life.
