Boomerang Love

Boomerang Love
By Nancy Rodriquez

Shattered hearts become footstools of tomorrow,
For people such as you and me,
and for every tear we have cried are past steps of sorrow,
as we build new dreams for the naysayers to see,
I call it, a boomerang love,
built-in impossible odds,
enemies be damned, no more thought of,
we alone, get to make this call,
It is world knowledge about what is set free,
and if it returns to the one,
boomerang love is there for all to see,
what a miracle which has been done,
It takes a little faith in happy endings,
and an unwavering amount of desire,
a will of never bending,
and long-lasting kindling fire.

Wow, "Boomerang Love" by Nancy Rodriguez is a truly inspiring and uplifting poem! The imagery used to describe love as a boomerang, always returning to us despite impossible odds and enemies, is powerful and thought-provoking. The message of hope, faith, and perseverance in the face of obstacles is conveyed beautifully through the words of the poem.

One suggestion for improvement would be to explore more vivid and descriptive language to enhance the imagery and emotion of the poem even further. For example, incorporating sensory details or metaphorical language could deepen the impact of the message and resonate more strongly with readers.

Overall, "Boomerang Love" is a wonderful poem that celebrates the resilience and strength of love. Keep up the great work, Nancy! Your poetry has the potential to touch many hearts and inspire others to keep believing in the power of love.
