I must
Sometime
Somewhere
Somehow
Pass away
From
This world,
Though
When
Where
How
Know
I not,
But
The basic thing
Is to have existed
Which
Imprints
On time
An indelible mark.

About this poem

Your existence on earth must make an impact on earth, for good, or bad. Hitler became a horror to the world. Abraham Lincoln made a postive mark. His Letter To His Son's Teacher is a masterpiece. Mother Theresa made an impact, just like Florence Nightengale. Chinua Achebe made an indelible mark on the sands of time.
