You and I

Nondumiso shezi 2009 (Johannesburg)

I've always thought about
You and I against the world
You and I above it all,
But lately you and I seems
More like you and her
I get that sometimes you gotta
Let it go and go with the flow,
But letting you go is like
Letting go of the one thing that
Give meaning to my life.
They say that one-sided loves
Are always the hardest to overcome,
But I can't ever imagine
Me without you,
Me without my reason to live
And me without my other half.
I'll wait even if it means ripping off
A piece of my heart just to put it
Back together when you finally
Realize the what you have pushed away
