At the Helm

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Three dimensional images have obscured all of your vision
Here on earth you can’t find peace until you make a decision
A decision to seek the fourth dimension of the spiritual realm
To place your Father on the deck and let Him have the helm

Why are you still sleeping when we’ve come so near the end?
His will is that you would wake up and seek Him as a friend
In this act; there is no evil or wrongdoing or regret
Can’t you see the One who calls through death is living yet?
How can you deny the Truth and perish in your pleasure?

In God we know there is no limit to your wealth and treasure
So, in His Son we’ll make our stand and this will be our calling

Come one, come all, come everyone who thinks they might be falling
Only God can lift you up, but sin will lay you low
Many falls into the trap of Satan and to their death they go
Men think they are so wise and that their plans will never fail
On their own wisdom they place their trust and then end up in hell
None of them have known the Truth, but only their own devises

The Way of love they have not known, they rely on Satan’s vices
On fire for all eternity, they scream and cry aloud

Many were called but few were chosen; most were just too proud
A man can the seek the Lord his God with all his mind and soul
Never having his whole heart in it and really not being made whole
