Your Name Rest On My Lips Like Prayer

Your name rests between my lips like a Prayer, Which holds me up whenever those thoughts come to scare. When I feel down and everything goes wrong, I still have faith that you're somewhere. I remember the night that crumbled my Reality, The heaven over there witnessed that brutality. The hands which always protected me, slipped off from mine, knocking Rationality. Down my The Reason for my existence was lost behind, My efforts were in vain when I tried to find. This body was here but the soul was gone, As yours and mine were already intertwined. Time never stopped, and so did 1, With everyone I smile, when I'm alone I CRY. I wish every day, wherever you are, please be the star in my empty sky. Your name rests between my lips like a And be there with me forever and ever..... Prayer, music obsessed

Ronald Tanyaradzwa Mutandi

Born in Murombedzi Zvimba, Zimbabwe, grow up in the hopes of a better future for him. With both a mother and father, father that loved to write, it was inevitable that he would share the same passion as him. As the years went by and he grew to love his passion for the creative arts through writing. It was only when he faced the rage of death in 2013 (when he was only 13), that he truly realized his passion for writing. This is when his journey began through starting his novel "too weak for this world" with poetry finally becoming a new obsession. Poetry became a new way to express himself in the shortest but most powerful way. And it was only the beginning. He found that his poetry was helping him deal with the reality of pain, the blindsides of truth, helping him in his own self-discovery and dealing with the realizations that any young boy or man may experience in different times of their life while inspiring to find themselves throughout their journey. He hopes to inspire others to know that they matter! “I've loved, and lost; and learnt so many things through the years. I find my inspiration from my experiences in life, and most often from silent places. From places that are unknown to the eye, and are often untold to the world.” - Ronald Tanyaradzwa Mutandi (Ronnie Tanya @The Lonely Writer) more…
