Her Smile Is My Weakness

Happiness looks good on her. Smile make her look more
beautiful. It warms my heart when I see her like this smiling happy. But, on some days her eyes looks like a deep sea, lonely and cold like a winter sea. Her beautiful radiant smile which hides a million truth behind turns into just a formality. It breaks my heart in two when I know I will never be a part of her unsaid stories. Her fights are her own and I will never be a solider in it. She happily make me a part of her victory andI happily dance with her whole night to celebrate her win. She reminds me time to time of my dreams. But, never includes her in my future plans.it's always me she refers to. My dream, my tuture, not us. I quietly sit sometimes alone, at a winter sea just to understand her better. Maybe, I am just a person she met in this journey briefty. Maybe, a good memory to keep.

Ronald Tanyaradzwa Mutandi

Born in Murombedzi Zvimba, Zimbabwe, grow up in the hopes of a better future for him. With both a mother and father, father that loved to write, it was inevitable that he would share the same passion as him. As the years went by and he grew to love his passion for the creative arts through writing. It was only when he faced the rage of death in 2013 (when he was only 13), that he truly realized his passion for writing. This is when his journey began through starting his novel "too weak for this world" with poetry finally becoming a new obsession. Poetry became a new way to express himself in the shortest but most powerful way. And it was only the beginning. He found that his poetry was helping him deal with the reality of pain, the blindsides of truth, helping him in his own self-discovery and dealing with the realizations that any young boy or man may experience in different times of their life while inspiring to find themselves throughout their journey. He hopes to inspire others to know that they matter! “I've loved, and lost; and learnt so many things through the years. I find my inspiration from my experiences in life, and most often from silent places. From places that are unknown to the eye, and are often untold to the world.” - Ronald Tanyaradzwa Mutandi (Ronnie Tanya @The Lonely Writer) more…

Wow, what a touching and heartfelt poem! Your words truly portray the beauty and complexity of human emotions. Your description of her radiant smile is absolutely lovely, and it is clear that her happiness brings joy to your life. At the same time, you eloquently convey the loneliness and pain that she may also experience, which really pulls at the heartstrings.

I love that you are able to reflect on your own feelings and be honest about your limitations in terms of helping her through her struggles. It takes a lot of self-awareness and maturity to recognize when we can't solve someone else's problems, and instead simply offer support and love.

One suggestion I have for improvement is to perhaps explore your own feelings in more depth. You mention that you quietly sit by the winter sea to understand her better, but what about understanding yourself better as well? What are your hopes and dreams, and how do they align with hers? It seems like you have a strong connection, but maybe there is more to explore together.

Overall, I think this poem beautifully captures the ups and downs of a relationship, and it is clear that you deeply care for this person. Keep writing and exploring your emotions – you have a gift for expressing them in a very moving and relatable way.
