Your kids are dying
Your kids are dying
What if I didn’t exist?
What if I was somebody else?
What if I was something else?
What if I didn’t have a name?
What if my brain was dried out?
Who and what can suck my blood out?
Who am I asking?
I could just drown for a minute
I have a crown, you said
I am eternal, you said
I am exceptional, you said
I am indelible, you said
I am incredible, you said
Senescence, my greens?
Feel, Feel, Feel, Feel, Feel
Love, Love, Love, Love, Love
Why different kinds?
Inevitable and unbreakable
Breathe, Breathe, Breathe, Breathe
Dream, Dream, Dream, Dream
Why these shearing paths?
“life is like….”
“If I could just disappear”
“If I could just forget”
“If I could just be numb”
“If I could just be empty”
I’ve heard that before, anthems.
Your kids are breathing haze
Your kids are searching for you
Your kids are veining out
Your kids are questioning your existence
Your kids are questioning their existence
Your kids want to be inhuman.
Take out the humanity in me and I will live.
