THE OBLIVIOUS;MOON

She guides the dead with light
through to the afterlife
in silk and milk she is draped.
like diamonds in flame, she is made

Shy, pleasant and solitary she is
fire and lamp never rendered her obsolete, please
eye of the night she has become
Hello darkness, I'm not ready to succumb

The moon in my mind
is burnt in effigy. I am blind
bald and wild she is
bending on me in particular like sins

but the moon sees nothing of this
the light of her mind is blue-blue and bliss

About this poem

This poem denotes how unlovely we see the moon from here, and how she doesn't care about it. She thinks she is beautiful and she is happy about it. She inspires us to succumb. would we? She is trying to tell us to keep doing what we do, not minding whatever people say or think about us. You are beautiful in your own way, you don't need anybody to tell you that.
