1954
We ran
Faster than rain falling
Nothing but an object
Following my nose
I ran to the nearest camp
Smoke can kill you
We’re numbered
Coal that won't burn out
Papers won't register this
I’ve committed a crime
For those of the future
My language is a
disguise
I see the wolves come
Its more than 19 feet
I come from the south
where my feet chip away
papers left in the wind
beautiful snow
I’m gonna do it
No going back
Forgive me
Grandma
Squirrels cant smell me
But the rats will expose
I call to you
See me
See my culture
Forgive my sins
This is for the future
Throw me out
I'll come back
As a kitsune
Living in a castle isn't fun
But I tossed the blanket away
They told me lies
Licked them like candy
“There are no cats
in America”
“Streets filled with cheese”
The dogs will run
A Coyote won't stop
for no one
not even you
Cheese will mold
Who took the cats to America?
