Gratitude

Darryn Scott 1972 (Adelaide)

They say to be grateful, for something every day,
If you do this, good things will come your way,
Just pick one thing, focus on that,
And out of your funk, you will snap.

When you are down on yourself, each day,
It feels really hard, to make this stay,
Inside your mind, other thoughts just seem to take over,
And hide all the gratitude you want to uncover.

Being grateful, can lift up your spirits,
Give you something to aspire to, on your own merits,
Be something to help you, day in and day out,
Have in your thoughts, dispelling your doubts.

If you can master the ability, to say,
Something you're grateful for, each day,
It apparently, will help change your mindset,
And set you on a path, where there is no regret.

If you can live your life, with no regret,
Your mind can really, and truly rest,
You will be rewarded, with great mind food,
And live your life, filled with gratitude.

Good luck, love and light to you!
