Before the Storm

Free verse
I am running before the storm winds.
The power of it pushes me forward,
Like a patiently held breath.
It releases and quickly I let go.

I am carried by the winds of the storm.
The world rushes by in seconds,
I say goodbye to all restraints.
Freedom is where I am going now.
