Analysis of Waiting
Walking alone in the darkness dreary.
Fighting with mind and body weary.
Night secludes me,
Relief eludes me...
Waiting for the light of the day.
I'm waiting for these wounds to heal.
This broken heart can't even feel.
Love grows cold,
As I grow old.
Haunting me both night and day.
Please stay with me, that my wounds may heal.
Please don't leave me, I can't even feel.
It hurts to talk.
It's hard to walk.
Tell me that I'll be okay.
Though fatal wounds they may not be,
I find it hard sometimes to see.
My soul is rent,
My patience spent.
I await the light of day.
