Analysis of Mine

I remember the day I met you on that summers day
On that sunny day on the 5th of May
As we sat along the beach
How I accidently punched you and you bruised like a peach
The day slowed down when ever you were around
I could talk to you sitting, standing and upside down!
I could talk to you for hours on end
But fate told me we must be friends
I really did Like you,
I really did
I hoped, I wished but non of them made the right dish
I couldnt lock you in my palms
I came to you with open arms
All i got was a disgusting look
Like I was some kind of animal or some crook
You ran away into the dark
But then you turned around, It must have been a spark
You told me you loved me
You told me you did
You gave me a hug and brushed back my hair
and placed a rose and it settled there
All of a sudden your soft tender lips touched mine
And everything froze including time
Thats when I realised that you were mine
