Analysis of Innacurately Incoherent

Tongues wagging with energetic ecstasy,
discussing works of classic art forms;
And the words they uttered inefficiently,
left each person awed by such literary charms.

A cocktail party filled with know-it-alls,
from the highly educated class;
Where opinions are presented as factual,
and never seem to run out of gas.

A migraine headache starts to pulse,
within my worn and weary brain;
Why I came here I'll never know,
I must be quite insane !

But my boyfriend said it would be fun,
to meet some of the fair elite;
But I was tired of nodding politely,
and my new shoes really hurt my feet.

Ah, rescue, a good friend has come,
to save me from these bores;
We sneaked away to the powder room,
since this gathering had become a chore.

Well, having graduated from Art School,
as a designer and painter trained;
I heard these folks spewing nonsense,
with ideas and facts reclaimed.

So yes, I was sort of a snob myself,
but I had learned a thing or two;
When innacurately incoherent phrases thrive,
there's nothing much anyone can do !
