Analysis of The last poem.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

Now you see me.

Now you see me, but now you don't. My days of writing poems are over, so move on over. I can't compete with writers and teachers. I have the feelings, but I don't have the words. You guys have the feelings and words. I'm like the little puddle that people walk through. But you guys are like the ocean. I thank the Lord for meeting you all. I never met so many nice people in all my life. So there is some good that comes out of it. I still like reading your poems, so keep on writing. Thanks a bunch.
