Analysis of Making Peace



Finally...
He realized how many times she tried to get him to
See her, not through her.
Walk to her, not by her.
Talk to her, not at her.
Want her, not anybody else.
And love her, not the idea of who he could change her to be.
But in that moment of realization,
He still doesn't understand completely.
"I'm Sorry", he said...
Hearing him say those two words,
may not have been enough, or been the glue to put the pieces of her heart back together...
But, it sure made all those efforts seem worth it,
Even if it's in the smallest, simplest way,
For the shortest moment...
