Analysis of A TRIP OR A DREAM THEY ALL SEEM THE SAME
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
Nuns wearing their habits running across my sidewalk single file screaming what religion lives here what cross do you bear it is not the same one that you were born into because your mind was just too damn strong we ran out of laundry soap for this type of brainwashing
last night's trip there was a Forrest of animals running down my halls and sitting on my stairs the cute little squirrel almost made me trip hell I felt like Dr. Doolittle the squirrel I was talking to all night her name was Sandy she was my bartender for the night giving me liquid courage so to you all these words that make no sense I can recite
I keep fading in and out but every time I wake up I find myself running down the halls of all my past mistakes trying to slam shut all the doors
Thanksgiving dinner a week before my Ma Ma said baby boy I love her cooking but mine will always be better because it is made with Mother's love so let me ask you this why did you not do this 10 years ago and sealed the deal with that kiss that the town Whores talk about
Tripping balls or just another one of my vivid dreams or finally saying fuck it as I jump down the Rabbit hole screaming not all drugs are bad not all will make you Mad like the Hatter
What Gods do you care to chase down asking the questions that others are afraid to ask because of the fear of going to a hell that the churches talk about
I am not here to play this game of theirs I am here to spread the truth change the rules shake shit up and create a game of my own
a trip or another one of my vivid dreams once you become awake nothing seems to be the same sometimes your own words and thoughts have you think that you are the one who is inane and not those poor bastards that chose to remain asleep as the days go by
