Analysis of What is Love
What is Love my ex-wife said?
I thought you knew I answered.
You said it often, with certainty
And then you left me instead.
Was that lust or pure deceit
Or was your motive pure or "manure?"
You looked me in the eye
Down in my soul
Now your eyes appear so cold
Did I grow old? When problems came?
Or my health faltered.
I was there for you no strings attached
But I took love to have a deep meaning.
Til death to we part, not we are a part.
You are with another man
My heart is ripped apart
You started over like it was nothing.
I forgive you though, I know I should
Cause when you really love someone
You have to let go and go on.
It will be hard.
I was dealt this card.
But I will be a man
And trust God's plan
Forgive me for whatever
Be blessed, have a good life
To my once loving Ex-wife!
