Analysis of Numbers
Though your time has come I’m sorry to inform you
That your ashes had no family to go to
And that society’s ideals are so sadistic
That your untimely death has been made into a statistic
They do not care about you
About what your legacy will turn into
They care more about the numbers
They don’t care about your slumber
And in the time of your recent demise
We see your mother and your father, tears are filling their eyes
Because your spirit has been turned into a number
Now rest easy, I will leave you to your slumber

About this poem
This poem was made to represent the fact that we as a society trivialize death and use it as a statistic where it is opportunistic.
