Analysis of Daddy Can You Hear Me
Eva Joy Blevins 1988 (Paramount)
Daddy, can you hear me?
Even when the words don't come out right.
Daddy, did you feel me?
Even though I wasn't there that night.
Daddy, I feel your presence,.
Even though you aren't here.
Daddy, I know you protect me
From everything that I fear.
Daddy, I look up at the night sky
Blue twinkling stars remind me of your eyes.
Daddy, I surely miss you
More than you realise
Daddy, I feel so lonely
Since you went back home
Daddy, I know you surround me
When I feel alone.
