Dark Mysteries

From the east came certain dark mysteries
the silence absorbed simply overwhelmed

From non existence to a breeze to a wind
began blowing west hard and fast

Children in fear pressed faces
upon spotting window glass

Darkness crawled up...

Dearest Brother

For if in all the same we had conquered
Infinite treasures and gallantry

I went for you in your desire to do as
you would have done

Quiet to yourself on a known countryside
you would not leave

I followed this idol along the path
in...

Shadows

Sitting in a soft honored shop
sharing words with those around
thinking of us all

Whispers could be heard between coffee
sips & the tapping of each spoon

The day kept up its pace as history took its place, as the seconds of our lives passed...

Bottled Water Sleep

Bottled water sleep, emptied, standing
flies drink without contempt.

Neon lights glow, creeping towards me through the shutters, across the ceiling

Wretched crumpled sheets empty

Scented flowers

There were scented flowers at each door & window, an afghan covered couch and a marble table out in front, with a breeze that seemed to travel from between each entrance way.

The true decadence of a failed state, as with every failed nation through out history, seems destined to happen over and over. Every thing is drained from the lowest of our society to be the riches of others. Some say its the only true evil of capitalism. Once a person can no longer provide for themselves, even though they work 50 to 60 hrs a week. They can not afford a simple studio to live in. It robs them of any ability to feel a simple worth , the poisons give them that deathly relief of care. Are we to far gone?

Your thoughts within your words holds your secrets, a lot is missing that explains the reason why you wrote this. As in a style, all stories have a beginning middle and an end with two climaxes that lead you through the middle to the end. Those events are what will define who you are, what happened to you and how this event or events caused you to write. Tell your story.
