Poems »

I was born in Basingstoke, England where Christmas meant snow, hot dinners and carol singing. My family immigrated to south-west Western Australia to a sheep farm. Such a contrast from living in a two-storey council flat in Basingstoke. Western Australia is so beautiful. I spent many hours at the local swimming pool and on the diving boards. So happy. Then we moved to Victoria. I now love to spend time writing and swimming as I am retired. I am very proud of the fact that in 2002 I won the Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry with poetry.com.
