Perceive your own Title

Thoughts...Trapped
                 Mind...Imprisoned
                          Dreams...Forgotten
                                        Spirits...Shattering

Youth of a bygone era, the kid I remember back growing up,
living the present future without a care in the world.
Talked down by elders of the school, reminded that I'll
never amount to anything like the other brilliant kids.

Shook...Shock
           Fear...Tear
                  Guilt...Regret
                          Conflicted...Alone

Try as I might, to understand you, never without doubt,
can I trust you to show appreciation the same as I have.
Living life with a tumor of a burden, constantly looking
over my shoulder now that I can see, a truth I was told
and forevermore shall my cologne mask my alone.

Status...Deceased
           Location...Buried
                          Hopes...Crushed
                                      Memories...Redacted

What reason would you have to care, valuing a person like
they're material, shows how little appreciation you have of them.
Do not expect someone to only help and you cannot return
in kind the honesty of another by meeting them halfway.
The more you say your fine when you know internally that you
are not, the more you cry out wanting to be heard.
Just remember that not everyone will willingly shoulder your
burdens with you, nor will they appreciate your rebounding.
