Humans are fasinating

Humans are fascinating.

They see people and automatically go in for some type of touch.
They talk to the people far away using a small box of wires.
They open their house up for the people they love in time of need.

They can fall in love after just one sighting.
They take each other places to show love.
They give each other things to show love.
They call each other names to show affection.

They have a ceremony to express that they will stay with each other forever.
They give each other metal to wear on their fingers to have proof of that.
They share a big box together, and often have young staying there as well.

They call people their soulmates, and hold onto each other forever.
They always look for love, whether they admit it or not.
They even dream of love. It’s always in their hearts.

Humans are fascinating.

They ignore touch from their loved ones.
They hit a button and the people they love cant talk to them from far away.
They lock the doors on their houses.

They go out of their way to ignore people.
They avoid their favorite places in fear of the other person.
They break the things that mean so much to them.
They use new names, names that have a bad meaning.

They sign a paper and suddenly the big ceremony means nothing.
They sell the metal on their fingers or even throw it in water.
They leave the big box, and pass the young back and forth.

They break the bond, no longer soulmates.
They build a “wall” around their heart and don't trust people.
They don't dream anymore, they have what they call nightmares.

Humans truly are fascinating.
