Zen part 2
Learned man in quest
Met a Master with a request
Realization and Delusion
Games played by the mind
Giving and Recieving are figments of our thinking
Truth is Emptiness and Nothingness
Master listened with interest
Took out a Bamboo stick
Struck hard with intent
Man got up with rage
Calmly replied the stage
If nothing is the source
When met with force
From where did spring your anger and remorse
A great master
Teaching his disciples
Jealous of his fame
From afar a man came
Challenged him to a debate
Started off with haste
The Buddha's power
Could stand with a brush
On one side of the river
On the other bank the paper
He could still paint a picture
What is your power ?
Master quipped the only power I possess
I drink when I'm thirsty
I eat when I'm hungry
Keen on acquiring the skills
To be a great Martial Artist
A student asked the teacher
How long will it take to completely master
Ten years was the answer
Written on a paper
I want it earlier
I'm willing work harder
Now what's your answer
20 years he wrote on the paper
Flag fluttering in the blowing wind
2 observing men questioned
Wind is moving said one Its the Flag said the other
Walked by a Zen Master
Neither are moving and it doesn't matter
It's your mind that's moving causing the flutter
