Home Brew Poem

Edward T Medalis 1939 (Detroit Michigan)

Brew and drink till you forget what you tasted
And fall off your stool because you're so wasted!

I had been brewing for about five years
Then I found a friend that needed beer cheers
We found a wholesaler, that sold Barley Malt that's nice
And then we got hooked up at a very good price

Two hundred twenty pounds of malt was not wrong
And took the shipping cost out of the song
Then, we found a grower of very good hops
And grabbed a large lot for a price that was tops

A bitter ale with lots of Cascade hop bliss
We drink with gusto and enjoy hoppyness
It's a great IPA that goes down with great glee
And we laugh loud, and sing as we guzzle and pee!
