Circumstantial Love

“An everlasting love”, she sang for me with her beautiful lips …
I believed her, oh yes, and followed through, not thinking though …
She said:” I’ll be your dream, your fantasy, your reality
I will be the one, who’ll come shining through, when your clouds are blue
I'll be the fountain
who will quench your thirst,
who'll wash away the pain
and at the heart first "
Oh I believed her so, not thinking though
She showered me with hopes, with all color shades,
sweeter than ecstasy
yes, she's the one I love,
she's my fantasy
But one day she said: “ I am moving on
I want to be alone,
got things to do,
but will call you soon”
I believed her so, not thinking though,
the days passed by,
I never heard a ring,
nor a simple word, to be sent by her,
on the wind's wing…
I searched all around
But Ah! she broke my heart, her little toy
nothing but torment to replace that joy…
sat in my little place, back to my little world, where truth prevails,
nothing called love exists,
and in the way, I buried my dreams and fantasies
in a no man’s land…
where all turns to dust, just like her love,
nothing to be found
