Work, Discovery, Death... Life

From what I've seen of our state of mind,
I'll never know if this is how you've felt,
As I can only assume this is pain and guilt.

The necessity of our continuing way of life
To bring us closer to a port of no real resolve,
The cycle that allows no grasp of real past or present,
And the glimpses of the future are always twisted,
Along with the memories sure and small,
Yet grown out with our time of existence.

Infuencially written and always knowing what to say,
Because it was never really our choice,
Only that I am home and chose to stay.
