With malice towards none

With malice towards none
-----------------------------------------------
When there are clouds in the sky
And seem likely to rain
And bring solace to me
You say it is contrary to reason
When a fruits laden tree sways
And me mercifully spares a mulberry
My mouth waters and my feet proceed
You say it is illusory
When sun rises and upon me shines
You say it is bigotry
When sun sets and brings in calmness
Yoy say it is nothing but darkness
Shrouded with deadly dun
Engulfing me with evil din
When in a stars-studded sky
Stars twinkle and give pleasures to all
Pensive I look aloft
You say I am mad and a rubbish poet
And when moon shying away
To sit on my brow
Asked how I look like
You say me as good as crow
And while cruising along a sea shore
Waves after waves splashing our feet
And sometimes going past our waist
Bring thrills of joy and happiness untold
I look at you in deep sea of your eyes
To measure the fathoms of love you abide
I find only weeds, weeds, weeds
Where are the pearls
With which I shall be thrilled….
And you say with all excuses
They are all mere jokes
And I suspect them hell of crooks
Friend you are not my friend
You are a natural foe
Born to add to my woes
Walking with me along on every occasion
Smiling at me with lips half-open

Do veil your real intentions………..
