Time

Precious things we treasure the most
If we take them in a lethal dose
They will melt away so fast
We want to make them last
Like a family moment or a cup of tea
To live with thee
And be thy love
Is just precious enough
As we climb higher through life
Until we hit the top like a butchers knife
You realise all the times you have moaned or whined
When all some people wish for is a little more time
