the fascination

2.

                   T HE FASCINATION----DR.K.G.BALAKRISHNAN
                     The sea roaring shadowing
                       My ambition, lengthening
                       To the doom, setting the grief
                        Fathomless, bubbling boiling
                        Foaming steaming bewildering!

                       The Silence virtual measureless;
                        The Dilemma ambiguous naïve!
                        The Junction of sorrowing streams
                         Becoming the holy Manasasaras
                         Where the fragrant Lotus does blossom
                         To be the Beauty ecstatic the Bliss sublime!

                        The churned, the love-hymn chanted;
                         The Amrita-the nectar of immortality-
                          Thus transcended; the kiss sanctum
                           The Essence the Full the Amalgamation!

                         O my Fascination! To perceive Thee!
                          The Mind universal! To fly to the Solemn!
                             ==========================
