The creator of the universe visits earth one last time

And now spring has sprung too hot
What amazing wonders I have seen
What beautiful justice have I not?
On this dot, blue and green
What wonders
With these weary hands
I have made to be

My sun, beautiful sun, rising gently
In the east
One of billions, but still brilliant
On this billboard I sit and look out
Over the city
Just waking up, out and about

And I eat my last bagel

All over lands I travel
For one last parting
Goodbye
Things have taken shape
In extraordinary ways
I will need good scissors to
Cut these ties and earthly tethers
For we have grown together

Now faith is restored in you,
Completed is my quest
No more I say, No more
My weary hands will finally rest

Hey, some of these aren't that great but what the heck. I just like writing how I feel in the moment so some of my poems might be confusing because I was confused in that moment. Maybe thats why I wanted to write a poem, to sort out my thoughts. Anyway, just read them and hopefully just one of them will bring you some kind of joy, or make you feel some kind of connection. Peace.>>>I also do star photography - probably why space works its way into a lot of my writing. http://mcb-photography.blogspot.com/ more…
