Warmth brought to us in the winter of our meeting
kindled to a simmer in the spring of ardor's heating
Experiencing the joy of first love's intense passion
Now comfort found in embraces of a summer's relaxed fashion

Sitting back in a gentle manner with head resting against the tree
she closed her eyes and looked to daylight in a serene reverie
My hand on her knee, I watched her face, now her ardent devotee
