remain
As the tides of change engulf my weary bones I can no longer hide from myself. The lies I crouch behind are stripped away and the ties that bind have begun to fray. Reparations for my wrongs, a daunting debt I just cant pay. As for childhood dreams.......carelessly disposed, thrown away. As for a message of hope there is none to find so I sift through the ashes of former life finding nothing but grief and strife. So I rise from the ashes! not a chance. I know my place and take no stance.
